With the slogan “All Colours. Total Control. Any Stage.”, Cameo announces a special digital launch event to be held on 2nd December at 17:00 (CET) that will mark a first in the history of the German manufacturer. Professionals from the event technology sector and all interested Lumen Beings can look forward to the world premiere of a new Cameo product that will set new standards in terms of flexibility, colour variety and precision. “It’s not just a launch. It’s a takeover.” – With this bold message, Cameo makes it clear that the new product is more than just another addition to its constantly growing portfolio: it is the start of a new generation of professional lighting technology solutions from Neu-Anspach. Cameo has recently provided initial insights into the features of the as yet unknown product on its social media channels. The new light is based on RGBALC LED technology and is designed to be a true all-rounder for any stage and a variety of application scenarios. Hardly any other concert venue in Europe enjoys as much of a cult status as the Paradiso in Amsterdam. Since its opening in 1968 in a former church building from the 19th century, the Paradiso has become one of the most important cultural institutions in the Netherlands. Music club, concert venue and debating chamber all in one, the programme ranges from international pop acts to political discussions and book presentations. In order to keep pace with the technical requirements of modern productions, the music venue regularly invests in its equipment – always in harmony with the listed building fabric. In 2024, the lighting technology in the Upstairs Hall, Paradiso’s smaller auditorium with a capacity of around 210 people, was scheduled for complete renewal. The goal: a modern, purely LED-based setup with compact, powerful and flexible lighting fixtures – realised with products from Cameo. Customised for historic rooms The lighting technology for Paradiso was supplied by the full-service lighting partner Airlight in close cooperation with AmpcoFlashlight Sales. When summer begins in Madrid, the greats of electronic music meet in the “Ciudad del Rock” (City of Rock). From 20 to 21 June 2025, A Summer Story Festival once again attracted tens of thousands of visitors to the 200,000 m2 open-air site outside Madrid, which was originally designed for the first Spanish edition of the Rock in Rio festival. For two days, 60,000 EDM fans partied to the sounds of headliners such as Hardwell, Nicky Romero and Afrojack – accompanied by a spectacular lighting and stage design, for which the Spanish event technology service provider Fluge Audiovisuales once again relied on Cameo. This year, Fluge opted for the flexible PIXBAR SMD IP G2 IP65 SMD LED bars and the tried-and-tested ZENIT W600 outdoor LED wash lights. For Pedro Campos, Light Producer at Fluge Audiovisuales, it was clear from the outset that the lighting design for A Summer Story had to do more than just accompany the film. “The lighting plays a narrative, emotional and scenic role,” explains Pedro Campos. “Each stage is its own cosmos with an individual visual identity.” The decision in favour of Cameo was made not least due to the high reliability of the IP65-certified devices: When summer begins in Madrid, the greats of electronic music meet in the “Ciudad del Rock”... The Adam Hall Group is continuing to drive its international availability for partners, customers and interested users. With the new UK Show Space in Derby, England, the event technology provider headquartered in Neu-Anspach, Hesse, is opening its next showroom. At more than 100 m2 customers from the UK will have the opportunity to experience the extensive product solutions of the Adam Hall Group brands in detail on site and test them hands-on. The opening ceremony will take place on 30 September 2025, followed by the first open days starting on 2 October. The Adam Hall Group’s new UK Show Space comprises around 100 m2 of exhibition space and is located in Unit 5 of the North Edge Business Park in Derby.
